Building H #78: Announcing Our Advisors
We start this edition with some news about Building H. First, we are delighted to announce that we are being joined by a fantastic team of advisors, who will be supporting us with strategic advice as we grow our network, develop a set of key projects like the Building H Index, and take steps to become a sustainable organization. Our advisors are:
Niko Canner, the founder of the strategy consultancy, Incandescent
Joanne Cheung, an artist, designer and former director at IDEO, the global design and innovation firm
Bradley Horowitz, investor and longtime product executive at Google
Risa Lavizzo-Mourey, professor emerita at the University of Pennsylvania and former president and CEO at Robert Wood Johnson Foundation
Sara Singer, professor at Stanford University and a longtime close collaborator of ours at Building H.
We’re excited to welcome Niko, Joanne, Bradley, Ris and Sara on board and look forward to working with them.
Next, our team is growing. We’ve recently added Lorena Moreno Aguilar as a research assistant. Lorena is a student at USC’s Master of Public Health program and will be helping us out with the Building H Index. You can see Lorena, our advisors and the whole Building H team on our website.
And finally, we’re hitting the road. Thomas will be speaking about Building H at NextMed Health, taking place in San Diego, CA from March 13-16. NextMed Health brings together scientists, entrepreneurs, academics, investors, and public health experts to address grand challenges and opportunities across the healthcare continuum, from precision wellness, to next generation diagnostics, to public health. Building H subscribers can get a $750 discount with the code NEXTMEDFacultyFriend. Learn more.
