Building H #100: Where Sustainability Meets Health

Apologies for being out of touch – we’ve been on a bit of a hiatus while focusing our attention on the 2024 Building H Index, which we’re getting ready to release in the next few weeks. The Index has been a massive project: our team has rigorously researched and analyzed more than 75 products and services across 12 project categories in four industries – citing nearly 400 sources in the process. We conducted original survey research, reaching more than 3,000 people. We engaged 185 volunteers to rate the products (many from among our readers – thank you!). And we’ve identified more than 130 distinct opportunities for companies to improve the health impacts of their products. And it’s all coming out … soon. Stay tuned!

We can’t let this issue pass without noting that it’s our 100th. That’s a lot of issues and a lot of words and we’re grateful to all of you who subscribe to, read and share our newsletter. Special thanks to the 70 of you who have been with us since the very first issue!
